Aviation Week Network’s MRO Asia-Pacific (#MROAP) was held September 27-29 at the Singapore EXPO Convention & Exhibition Centre. The sold-out exhibition hosted 150+ solution providers from around the globe. The hall featured a dedicated Singapore Pavilion, home to 23 regionally based organizations and companies.
The 2016 show drew 4,500 registered attendees. Each year, MRO Asia-Pacific attracts attendees from more than 65 countries including China, France, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, United Kingdom and the United States.
Focused on commercial aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), the event is the industry’s largest in Asia-Pacific featuring speakers from airlines, OEMs, regulators, suppliers, and service providers.
The conference featured keynote speaker Andrew Hewitt, Head of Engineering Contracts & Leasing, for Air New Zealand. The Chairman’s address was delivered by Jeffrey Lam, COO of ST Aerospace. This year also introduced the Interiors track which will be expanding to the Inflight Pavilion, Workshop and Awards in 2017 and Meet the Buyer – our new program to help better connect buyers and sellers on the exhibition floor.
